Most of my adult life has been spent working in community organisations and schools. I know how they operate, what they need, and what valuable spaces they are for creating connection, fostering respect, and sharing knowledge and skills.
School food gardens, composting programs, and worm farm projects are some of the most engaging activities I have run. Likewise, the opportunity to offer gardening and permaculture programs, activities, and services through community organisations - such as neighbourhood centres, women's health centres, and even refuges - is one of my greatest joys.

This full day workshop covers everything from seed propagation to growing plants from cuttings and even how to save seeds once your harvest is done. This workshop combines theory and practice, making for the best of learning experiences. We'll make our own seed-raising and cuttings mix, and learn how to reuse discarded household items to make planting containers. Participants will also leave with three punnets of sown seeds, three potted cuttings, a notebook to record their propagating adventures, and the confidence to give it all a go.
